Bakersfield Students Visit Play Piper HQ

On Friday, July 17, Play Piper welcomed 36 female students from Bakersfield to our San Francisco headquarters for a day focused on creativity, confidence, and hands-on STEM learning.

The annual student visit allows learners to experience technology beyond the classroom and see how ideas can become real-world solutions. Throughout the day, students explored what happens behind the scenes at a STEM company and learned more about the possibilities that open up when they combine curiosity with technology.

Students had the opportunity to hear from Play Piper Founder Shree Bose, who shared her own experiences in STEM and entrepreneurship. The conversation encouraged students to think about the future of technology, explore topics like artificial intelligence, and consider how they might use technology to solve challenges around them.

The day concluded with a hands-on Hack-A-Thon, where students worked together to develop and present their own ideas. They used creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to bring their concepts to life and share their solutions with the group.
