Introducing PiperPool, the most affordable way to access the Piper Experience! Unleash your curiosity and unlock the potential of STEAM with rental of the Piper Computer Kit and Piper Sensor Explorer

Follow an engineering blueprint to build a fully functional computer, then bridge electronics with code while playing Piper’s Raspberry Pi Edition of Minecraft and completing physical computing projects in PiperCode. Then explore the world around you with sensors that measure temperature, compute distance, and detect color to unlock three additional StoryMode worlds and PiperCode projects.

HOW IT WORKS

The initial PiperPool rental period is $99 (plus shipping) for two weeks. The rental period begins with your purchase and ends the day the USPS return shipping label is scanned. Each additional two weeks which you keep your PiperPool rental costs $49.50. After ten weeks, the rental period ends and you become the owner of a Piper Computer Kit and Piper Sensor Explorer.

Piper doesn’t charge for missing small components like a screw or plastic bag. We only charge for missing big items like a mouse, battery, temperature sensor, etc.

There’s no need to disassemble your Piper Computer for return – simply:

  • Put the Piper Computer Kit, Sensor Explorer, and all their parts into their boxes.
  • Return the Piper Computer built, with the battery off and disconnected.
  • Slide the colored, printed sleeve over the Piper Computer Kit box.
  • Place the kit boxes into the shipping carton with packing material to prevent shifting.
  • Seal the shipping carton with the tape strips and attach the prepaid return label.
  • Send the shipping carton back to us through the US Postal Service.
